Do you think this would be a good tool for wholesale Amazon sellers?

Hi guys,

I would love your input. Please comment with your genuine thoughts and perspective.

I have created a tool similar to Analyzer.tools and Keepa etc etc, but much much better, more nuanced and with a million customizations available. It basically cuts your time of going through wholesale spreadsheets down by 90%.

I have reached a point where to scale, I would have to pause, get an investment of $200,000 and rewrite the software.

My question is: Is this wholesale/closeout/spreadsheets model of business dying? Or if it’s really an amazing tool, do you think such a tool has a future, even for just a few years?

Please comment if you’ve done this model of business. Thanks so much for your input.

I do not think is dying, people still using softwares to scan price lists.

The wholesale/closeout spreadsheet model is certainly not dead, but it’s evolving as competition increases and sellers seek greater efficiency and compliance.

Many sellers still rely on spreadsheets from distributors and brands, and the need to analyze them quickly and accurately remains strong, especially among serious wholesale sellers who value precision over guesswork. A genuinely superior tool that significantly reduces time and improves decision-making could absolutely gain traction, particularly if it addresses real pain points like bulk ASIN matching, dynamic profit filters, duplicate handling, and integration with updated Amazon data.

However, keep in mind that the market is becoming more cautious due to increased Amazon restrictions, supply chain volatility, and tightening margins. If your tool meaningfully outperforms existing ones and can demonstrate that value clearly, especially through case studies or influencer endorsements, then yes, it still has a solid window of opportunity and potential return, especially if paired with training or services.

I personally with Al agents available now and they capability for researchs etc relay much less on scanning software etc. I may consider using now again but if have capability for scanning comparing product names with titles on Amazon not just SKU scanning.
