Do you send inventory through Amazon Warehousing and Delivery (AWD), and is Amazon consistently losing your inventory?

What do you do in such situations? My business will be severely impacted if this continues to happen.

I have the same problem. I think adding another Amazon process is a bad idea.

I have been using AWD. It’s very cost effective but it takes a lot of time for ASINs to get live. Also, I keep getting this issue: “you already have high days of supply for this FNSKU in your fulfillment centers”.

I don’t think any inventory has been lost up till now. Open a case and see what they’re saying.

I never did this, but I’ve heard really bad things about AWD and that people stop using it. Why not use a third-party prep center?

I was using AWD only because it was cost effective. I sent 144 units of single ASIN and it costed me 0.11/ unit to ship.

But is still worthy after all these headaches?

Definitely not.

Many sellers using Amazon Warehousing and Delivery (AWD) have reported inventory discrepancies, such as units missing during transfers to fulfillment centers. If this happens, the best first step is to regularly reconcile your AWD inventory with your own records and immediately open a case through Seller Central’s “Inventory Adjustments” or “Missing from Inbound” section, providing shipment IDs, proof of delivery, and box-level detail if possible. It’s also helpful to keep shipping receipts, tracking numbers, and detailed packing lists. If Amazon denies reimbursement, escalate through the “Contact Us” form and select “FBA Issues,” then follow up persistently. To protect your business long-term, consider shipping smaller batches more frequently, using detailed box-level content information, and even testing third-party warehouse partners to reduce dependency on AWD until the discrepancies stabilize.
