Do people keep a buffer in the business bank for anything?

Personally I put 8% of every Amazon disbursement into another bank for taxes and emergency fund, but always keeping about 3 grand in the bank as a buffer.

What’s everyone’s else thought process?

My plan is to have enough to cover personal and business expenses for 6 months in case something goes wrong … I dont have that amount in my bank account yet but working on it.

Since starting on Amazon, I always had money in bank. My 0 was always around 5k or more sometimes. Maybe slower growth but I overcame all problems I had just because I had extra cash. Never had real cash flow problems.

I am trying to keep $100k on the side in case everything goes wrong, so I can go to Dubai for a few years…

Business expenses in terms of what? Loans?
