Do I need a barcode for my items if I am doing wholesale with a product not on amazon. If I do FBM not FBA?

If I do FBA, Do I need to get a barcode? And where do I get a barcode, only one bar code per line of products?

If you are doing wholesale there are two options, the product which is already listed on Amazon then there’s no need of barcode but you have to paste FNSKU labels for FBA. For FBM there is no need barcode.

If product is not exist in Amazon catalogue then you have to create a new new listing, in this case if you want to do FBA then you have to buy product barcode from GS1 because it’s official Amazon partner or for FBM you can create listing with GTIN exemption.

You just need to buy one barcode off GS1 and then how does amazon know you have it, because the product will be at the fulfillment center and they won’t have barcodes on them yet? So will amazon apply the barcode?

My wholesale product is shipped from supplier directly to fba center…and it’s not a product already on amazon. Then what do I do?

Then you have to buy GS1 barcode and linked with your listing then download FNSKU labels and then shipped your product to Amazon warehouse.

Then you have to buy GS1 barcode and linked with your listing then download FNSKU labels and then FNSKU labels send it to your manufacturer he will paste it on product and then you have to give him cartoon labels then they will ship it to Amazon fulfillment center, Amazon team will receive your package, without FNSKU labels Amazon fulfillment team will not receive your package and return it to back.
