Did FBA make a difference for anyone here, and would you recommend it for beginners?

Hi everyone,

I’m a beginner Amazon seller using FBM with a private label product, but I haven’t made any sales yet. I’ve tried ads and improved my listing, the only thing I haven’t focused much on is driving traffic through social media.

I’m considering switching to FBA as I’ve heard it can help with visibility and sales, but I’m worried about investing more money and still not getting sales.

Thank you.

FBA can definitely help with visibility and conversions because customers trust Prime delivery more. But before switching, make sure your product demand, pricing, keywords, and listing quality are strong enough. FBA improves delivery and ranking, but it won’t fix a weak product or low-demand market.

I was in a similar situation when I started with FBM for my private label product. After switching to FBA, I noticed better visibility and more customer trust because of Prime delivery. It didn’t bring instant sales overnight, but it definitely helped along with improving PPC and listings. I’d also recommend focusing more on social media traffic since it can really help new brands grow.

I can also help you optimize your listing, PPC, and strategy to improve results before you invest more.

FBA can help (Prime badge, trust, better conversion), but it won’t fix a product that isn’t getting traffic or converting.

If you have 0 sales, the issue is usually listing, demand, or PPC—not FBM vs FBA.

I’d suggest:

Fix keywords + main image first

Get some PPC traction

Then switch to FBA once you’re getting steady clicks/sales

Otherwise you may just add costs without solving the core problem.
