The order defect rate on my Amazon store is 4.16%. How can I reduce it to under 1%, and what steps should I take?
The only way is to sell more to dilute the percentage. Maybe try selling a few items at cost or at a large discount.
And understand what has caused the order defect and prevent it from happening again if possible.

Increase the total number of SF orders, and it will decrease to below 1.

Improve product quality if the complaints relate to broken items. Don’t sell poor quality products. As others mentioned, you need to process more sales to improve the stats.
If the percentage of defects only results from 1 or 3 separate defects, it is very unlikely your selling account would get deactivated. As others mentioned, I would advise you to keep selling and try to increase your overall amount of sales.
