DD+7 email

Received a reminder that my account will be shifted onto DD+7 next month. In that email there’s this line which wasn’t there in previous emails as far as I recall:

“If you prefer, you can use disburse on demand to request the disbursement of all funds not under reserve on a daily basis, rather than the standard settlement cycle.”

What exactly does that mean?

Is this for the EU marketplace? I had mine migrated this time last year.

Now, I am getting it in the USA.

Do you know if this applies to FBA orders as well?

I got this email too. I had hoped they had forgotten about me.

That’s not a change. It just means that you can ask for a daily disbursement for anything not in reserve without having to wait for the 2-week automatic disbursement.

As a rule of thumb, NEVER leave money in your Amazon account for more than 1 day in case your account gets deactivated…

Yes, it applies to all orders.

Meant to have kicked in on the 12th for me, now 19th, still no DD+7 and no comms. What is going on?

Same here. Nothing. The account still has a bi-weekly disbursement schedule.

I have been actually looking forward for the change. As FBA sales proceeds would become available way faster than the current two weeks. I would be able to disburse daily, unlike now, when I am getting a lump sum every two weeks.

However, the Mexican and Canadian accounts are now under the DD + 7 schedule.

Now 1st of May and no transition to it. What’s your (any anyone else’s) take on what’s going on Kika?!

Is this regarding the European Amazon platform or the United States?

If you were one of the sellers who requested extension of the deadline for DD + 7 transition, then it is possible that they somehow left you out.

UK market.

not sure what your last line means ; I am saying i’m stll on daily manual disbursements (not dd+7, despite meant to have been moved onto dd+7 in march.

When was the date you started selling on Amazon?

The DD + 7 doesn’t mean that you won’t be disbursed daily. It just means that your funds will be released and available for disbursement 7 days after delivery of each order.

Some accounts were able to disburse daily before. Others were on a bi-weekly disbursement schedule, where you weren’t able to get paid manually.

started n 2014.

I’ve always been able to manually disburse daily (and currently still can). When I am switched to dd+7 I understand it as this: I wont be able to disburse daily for a period, and instead my sales funds will be held in reserve, and ill only be able to disburse them to my bank account 7 days after delivery.

So initially, I wont be able to disburse (for approximately 14 days (DD+7)) but from then on, I’ll be able to disburse regularly again, as I’ll be disbusing funds from orders from approximately two weeks ago as they become available. I’ve got that right haven’t I??

My question is, I am wondering why I haven’t been switched over to DD+7 yet, as I was told I would be im March. There are lots of sellers on the amazon seller forum in the same boat, although I notice no-one has said much about it for the past two weeks, hence me asking about it here if anyone had heard anything as to why.

So, what is wrong? You should be happy that you haven’t switched yet.

Lol. I’m outta here.

Everyone is already switched. If you are not, maybe they forgot about you.
