Credit card invalid despite Amazon charged me $39.99

I was a high-volume seller in the handmade market on Amazon for several years. I closed that shop in 2020 - and my wife and I live as nomads, roaming the US.

I am working with manufacturers on some products presently and am trying to get my first product set up on the retail side. I’ve had my $39.99 monthly fee withdrawn from my account but I continue to get a message from Amazon saying “Credit Card Invalid”.

And on my account info age it shows I need to provide tax info.

When I click to do that - it takes me back to the page that says “Credit Card Invalid”.

I’ve tried to reach out to Amazon without success.

Any suggestions?

Try a different card. You won’t be able to make any changes until you fix the issue with charge method.
