Creating a parent-child relationship

Hi,

I have a single listing, and I want to add two new sizes to create a parent-child relationship. How do I do this, please?

When I copy the listing and then add the new size, where does the current size go to? Do I need to add this size again, or will the size automatically create the parent ASIN?

Thanks, Clive.

To create a parent-child relationship for your listings with different sizes, follow these steps:

In your Amazon Seller Central account, go to “Add a Product.”

Search for your existing product and click “Create a new product listing.”

Add the new size variations by specifying their unique size attributes, prices, and quantities.

Amazon will automatically create a parent ASIN for the variations, grouping them under the original product listing.

You don’t need to manually add the existing size again; Amazon will handle the parent-child relationship for you.

The Variation Wizard is an interactive tool that allows you to create parent-child variation relationships iusing an auto-populated inventory file template.

The Article also includes Instructions to add to an existing variation family. You can follow the steps to add a new variation to an existing listing that you or another seller created.
