l’ve received this from Amazon to provide the missing “Country Of Origin” (COO). I have downloaded the spreadsheet and added this to the spreadsheet and uploaded it to Amazon inventory, etc etc. I have even gone through the product inventory individually and still I’m getting this message.
I know this one is a pain, but any help would be great.
Uploaded flat files take time to input your attributes in the catalog database. Usually the support team recommends waiting for 24-48 hours. However, did it see any errors when you uploaded?
Use the exact country names from Amazon’s list (for example “China” or “United Kingdom,” not “CN” or “UK”), then upload and check the Feed Processing Report for which SKUs failed and why.
If you prefer UI, go to Manage Inventory → Edit → Compliance tab → Country/Region of Origin and save for each child (parents can be left blank in many categories, but filling both doesn’t hurt).
If you sell across UK and EU, repeat this in each marketplace because a missing COO in one locale can keep the global warning alive.
For FBA SKUs, also ensure the Dangerous Goods/Compliance dashboard doesn’t have a pending COO request for the ASIN.
Allow a few hours after a successful feed; if the message persists despite “Success” in the feed report, open a case under Product page issue, attach the feed report showing acceptance, and ask for a contribution override to apply your COO to the live catalog.
