Could anybody guide me through the process of shipping my goods to Amazon?

I have some stock arriving in the UK. Initially, I planned to do FBM, but due to circumstances, I’ve decided to switch to FBA.

I came across information stating that I need Amazon barcodes and labels from the manufacturer? Is that true? Or can I directly request direct shipment to Amazon?

I’m unsure how this works. Could anyone help me clarify the steps involved?

I’d really appreciate your help!

Thank you very much.

First step is to read/watch all articles relating to FBA on Seller university.

Then come back and ask questions for anything still unclear.

To ship your stock to Amazon FBA UK, first, convert your listing from FBM to FBA in Seller Central. Then, create an FBA shipment through the “Send to Amazon” option, entering your shipment details.

For labeling, you can use Amazon’s FNSKU barcodes (recommended) or manufacturer barcodes if allowed. Labels can be applied by you, your supplier, or Amazon (for a fee).

Next, choose your shipping method—either directly to Amazon (ensuring your supplier follows prep guidelines) or to yourself first for quality checks. Follow Amazon’s packaging rules, print and attach shipping labels, and use a trusted carrier like UPS or DHL.

Finally, track your shipment in Manage FBA Shipments.

Since you’re switching to FBA, you don’t necessarily need barcodes from the manufacturer, but each unit must have an Amazon FNSKU barcode unless it qualifies for commingled inventory using the manufacturer’s UPC or EAN. First, go to Seller Central, switch your listing to FBA, and create a shipment by entering the quantity you’re sending. Amazon requires FNSKU barcodes on each unit, which you can print yourself, have your supplier apply, or use Amazon’s Label Service for a fee. When setting up the shipment, provide box dimensions and weight, select whether you’re sending individual or case-packed items, and choose a shipping method, either Amazon-Partnered Carriers for discounted rates or your own freight forwarder. Print and attach the Amazon-provided shipping labels, then monitor your shipment’s status in the Shipping Queue once it’s on its way. When Amazon receives your inventory, they will process it and make it available for sale.

To switch to FBA in the UK:

  1. Convert your listings to FBA in Amazon Seller Central.

  2. Create a shipping plan and download FNSKU barcodes.

  3. Products must be labeled with FNSKU—either by your manufacturer, yourself, or Amazon (for a fee).

  4. Ensure packaging meets Amazon’s requirements.

  5. Ship directly to Amazon or via a prep center.

  6. Label each box with the Amazon shipment label.

Check Amazon’s FBA prep and labeling guidelines for details. Let me know if you need more help!

However, if you need help creating a USA LLC, ein, resale certificate, I can help with that.

Hi, switch to FBA by converting your listing, creating a shipping plan, and applying FNSKU barcodes. Your supplier can label or Amazon can do it for a fee. Follow Amazon’s packaging rules and label each box before shipping.
