Hi all,
is it normal for samples to cost $300? It’s a pretty inexpensive product, 2-3$ from the manufacturer, but they want to charge $200-300 for each sample because they are customizing it.
Is this normal or can I negotiate?
You can’t sell products from Alibaba on Amazon. They will reject your invoices.

It depends on product as well. But if product is customized then it could be $200-$300. But all depends on product.

If the product is a custom design, then it’s possible. Still seems kind of expensive.
But you can still try to negotiate.

When we do product search and find samples at ridiculous prices we move on to other manufacturers/ suppliers.
