Confused about creating listings

Hi everyone, Afraid I made a few MISTAKES. For context - I’m at the “placed my sample order” stage but put on hold with suppliers because :

  1. My dummy listing (which I created about a wk ago) is locked as “generic” - and I can’t seem to unlock it.!

  2. When I bought My GTIN i added my LLC on it as my brand name, so I just purchased 2 more GTINS yesterday & placed my TM brand name on them. (Not sure if I needed to do that, if not, then wasted money.) !

  3. I have new GTIN now, so I have to delete dummy listing and then ask Amazon to delete my brand registry application ( that I submitted yesterday ) - & resubmit it with NEW GTIN and my new ASIN number .

  4. Then I have to figure out how to submit & where for BRAND APPROVAL. But how? & is it necessary??…. If necessary, how do I send pic to Amazon??? Does my outer packaging box from manufacture (see photo below) need “my brand name” printed on it? (Instructions aren’t clear)

I’ve Paid all my samples , & Haven’t been able to move ahead on on getting them stared due to all this.

Can anyone touch up on these points??

Thanks!

You will also need to have a live photo of the box/packaging with your brand name on it.

If its a plain carboard box i dont think they will accept the Brand application

I’ve already submitted the brand registry with the ASIN from dummy listing. Waiting to hear back from brand registry so I can cancel that that application. Problem is that the GTIN number has my LLC listed as the brand name and not my actual brand name. When I spoke to Amazon today, they said that that could cause problems down the line with your listing and because of that, I had to buy a new GTIN number, and make sure that my brand name was listed as the brand name. Thank you
