Closure of Amazon Seller account

Hi,

I have created Amazon Seller account yesterday however, after I read T&Cs I realized I’m not ready for selling through Amazon as yet and I would like to close or suspend my account. The problem is the moment I have registered balance of £30 pop up for the monthly fee however, I hope it can be cancelled. When I wanted cancel the account I got message that there is a balance on my account and the account can be closed when it is paid.
Did any one can advise how can I avoid to pay the fee? As I mentioned I only registered yesterday…

Contact seller support and tell them you’re not ready to start selling yet on Amazon, that you made a mistake with setting up a pro seller account.

They’re normally pretty good at cancelling the payment if you move within a reasonable time and you’ve not made any sales yet.
