Closing Account - No Charge

Dear Amazon Seller Forum,

I am Sarah Voulaz. I created by accident a Seller Account today as I did not think I would be charged £30 for it. I have not yet started selling anything and wish to withdraw from this and not pay the £30 Charge on 13 October please. I wish to close my Account and remove my bank details from it.

Please let me know if you can help at all.

Many thanks

Hello Sarah Voulaz,

Thank you for reaching out to the Amazon Seller Forum. I understand that you accidentally created a Seller Account and were not aware of the £30 charge associated with it. As you haven’t started selling anything yet, you would like to withdraw from the account and avoid the £30 charge scheduled for October 13th. Additionally, you would like to close your account and remove your bank details from it.

To address this situation, I recommend contacting Amazon’s seller support directly. They have the necessary tools and access to assist you in resolving account-related issues and processing any necessary refunds or cancellations. It’s important to communicate your situation clearly, emphasizing that you have not utilized the account and wish to close it to avoid the upcoming charge.

When reaching out to seller support, provide them with the relevant details of your account, such as your account ID or email address associated with the account. Be sure to explain the accidental account creation, your desire to withdraw from the account, and your request to remove your bank details. They will guide you through the necessary steps and advise you on the appropriate actions to take.

Please note that the availability and resolution options may vary depending on Amazon’s policies and procedures. It’s important to follow up with seller support promptly to ensure that your concerns are addressed and the necessary actions are taken within the desired timeframe.

I hope this guidance helps you in resolving the situation with your accidental Seller Account creation. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask. Best of luck!
