We send most orders via Royal Mail in Buy shipping. This defaults to Royal mail 2nd Class. We’d like to set it to 2nd class Large by default. Any way to do that?
I am aware you can setup a default postal carrier but not sure about specific postal service.
Don’t you have the tick box about default shipping method when confirming shipment and manually updating the postal service?

Think I figured a way, although it means editing every SKU individually, by setting the package dimensions to 2cm (which makes the package too large for standard letter post).
Good tip. Personally, I am seeing the option to select a default shipping service, but this may also depend on the shipping template you are using.
Currently, Amazon’s Buy Shipping tool automatically selects the most cost-effective shipping option based on factors like delivery speed and cost. This often defaults to Royal Mail 2nd Class for many sellers. Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in feature to set a specific service, such as Royal Mail 2nd Class Large Letter, as the default.
However, you can adjust your Buy Shipping preferences to prioritize certain carriers. To do this, go to your Buy Shipping preferences and use the carrier prioritization settings to have it only show your preferred carriers.
Keep in mind that even with carrier prioritization, you’ll still need to manually select the specific service (like 2nd Class Large Letter) for each order.
