I need help with my PPC. I am a new seller, and this is my first product. I have 7,370 impressions but only 10 clicks. The product is in the Home & Kitchen category.
Launched my first auto campaign on 02/06/2025 – It has only 272 impressions and 1 click. The suggested bid is $0.31–$1.15, but mine is $1.17 with a 50% bid adjustment for the top of search.
Launched a manual phrase campaign on 02/09/2025 – It has 525 impressions and 0 clicks. Bids are set in the middle range of the suggested bids.
Launched a manual broad campaign on 02/09/2025 – It has 3,570 impressions and 4 clicks. Out of 5 keywords, only 1 keyword is getting clicks. Bids are in the middle range of the suggested bids.
Launched another manual phrase campaign on 02/10/2025 – It has 2,915 impressions and 5 clicks. Again, out of 5 keywords, only 1 keyword is getting clicks. Bids are in the middle range of the suggested bids.
Note: My main image is almost identical to my competitors’. My price matches other new sellers. I don’t have A+ content yet because I am waiting to get at least one sale before filing for a trademark under “use” instead of “intent to use.”
Your click rate is low compared to impressions. Firstly, reduce all other campaigns and run Auto Campaigns with high budget and let Amazon get the data. Improve your listing as well. There seems a problem on the product detail page.
Could you please provide your LQS or more details so I can give a more specific answer?
Your low CTR suggests your ads are not compelling enough. Improve your main image by making it unique with better lighting and angles. Optimize pricing by trying small discounts or bundle deals to stand out. Fix your auto campaign by increasing bids slightly and adding negative keywords. Adjust manual campaigns by removing low-performing keywords and increasing bids on the best-performing ones. Use A+ content by applying for Amazon’s IP Accelerator for early access. Get product reviews through Amazon Vine or external traffic to boost sales. Check market demand to ensure your product is not too saturated. Need niche analysis for better strategy?
Your low click-through rate (CTR) suggests that your ad creatives, including your main image and title, may not be standing out enough to entice clicks, especially since your main image closely resembles competitors’. Try testing a more eye-catching main image or adding a slight variation that differentiates your product. Also, consider refining your keyword targeting by identifying high-intent search terms and possibly increasing bids slightly on keywords that are getting clicks. Since your price matches other new sellers, adding a small coupon or discount might help boost conversions. Additionally, while A+ Content isn’t required for PPC performance, an engaging product listing with a strong description and bullet points can improve conversion rates. If impressions are high but clicks remain low, your ad relevance and product positioning might need optimization, so testing different bid strategies or even pausing underperforming keywords could help.
