I’m encountering a challenge with my payment method and I’m curious if anyone knows whether I can use NayaPay or SadaPay for Amazon UK transactions. Given that these cards will have a Pakistani address, could this pose any problems with Amazon? My Amazon UK account is linked to my Pakistani passport and physical address.
I would greatly appreciate any insights, especially from fellow Pakistani sellers who might have experience with this.
Using NayaPay or SadaPay for Amazon UK transactions might be tricky since these are newer digital banking services in Pakistan, and Amazon tends to be quite specific about accepted payment methods and their verification processes.
Amazon UK generally accepts international credit or debit cards from major providers like Visa, Mastercard, etc. If NayaPay or SadaPay offer internationally recognized cards (like Visa/Mastercard), they might work, but it’s not guaranteed. Amazon sometimes has limitations on prepaid or digital-only bank cards, so it’s worth checking with their support team or attempting to add the card to your account to see if it’s accepted.
Since your NayaPay or SadaPay cards will have a Pakistani address, this could indeed pose issues. Amazon typically requires that your payment method’s billing address match the country where your Amazon account is registered (in this case, the UK). Mismatched addresses can lead to payment rejection or account suspension, especially if it raises concerns about account authenticity or fraud.
If your Amazon UK account is linked to your Pakistani passport and physical address, that alignment might be in your favor, but the payment method could still cause problems if the billing address doesn’t match the UK account region. To avoid potential issues, it’s better to use a payment method with a billing address that aligns with the region your Amazon account is registered in.
