Sales are great, and I can get brand approval and distributor authorization. When I tried listing, it said approval is required.
Also, if my prices are slightly higher than Amazon’s, do I have a chance of getting the Buy Box?

You will get it for some of the time but remember that Amazon have deep pockets and they’ll just slash their margins to make sure they win the buy box nearly all the time.
Not a fight I would participate personally but each to their own.

If you can’t compete with Amazon, I don’t see why you would jump on the same listing with them.
You can apply for approval to sell the Italian grocery brand on Amazon UK, but Amazon’s approval is required since they are the sole seller; if approved, you can compete for the Buy Box, but higher prices may reduce your chances of winning it.
