Can anyone recommend smaller or mid-size brands to start with?

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well. Amazon has been asking for 100–300 units to get ungated, but I’m looking for categories that still allow you to submit 10 units and an invoice to get approved.

I think they risen the target. This is because so many people bought 10 units just to unlock the brand and then never sourced from the same supplier. They bought retail or online arbitrage. That’s why.

Yes, there are still some smaller or mid-size brands and categories where Amazon may accept invoices for just 10 units to approve ungating, though this varies depending on the product type and risk level. Brands commonly used for ungating with smaller quantities include Intex , Duracell , Maybelline , L’Oreal , Neutrogena , Crayola , and some generic sub-brands under toys, health & personal care, and beauty. Wholesale suppliers like EE Distribution , Frontier Co-op , Kole Imports , and HBA Wholesale often provide the type of invoices Amazon accepts and allow small MOQ purchases. Your best bet is to target less-restricted subcategories where brand protection isn’t as tight, like office supplies, arts & crafts, or some grocery items. Just make sure the supplier is legitimate, provides invoices with your business details, and includes the ASINs you’re targeting.
