Can anyone explain how the 14-day reserve policy works?

I’m having trouble understanding the details and how it impacts my account or payments. I’ve looked into it, but I’m still confused about why funds are being held and when they’ll be released.

Could someone clarify this for me and provide some guidance on how to manage it?

Your Reserve Policy - Delivery Date + 14 Days (DD+14)

Dear Seller,

Your sales proceeds will be delayed while we are reviewing your account. Starting today, the reserve period for all of your orders will be 14 days after the delivery date. For example, if you ship an item on January 1, and the actual delivery date is January 4, then the sales proceeds will be available for disbursement starting on January 19.

Please continue to ship your orders and only list items that you can ship by the expected ship date.

You can learn more about payment policies (亚马逊)

Why is this happening?

Your reserve period is determined based on an assessment of your overall risk and historical performance.

Our policy regarding Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct can be found at 亚马逊.

How can I move back to a 7-day reserve period?

Essentially, your payments will take an extra week to reach you until Amazon finish their review and then you will go back to DD+7.

You can only wait. There is nothing you can do.

Nothing to worry about don’t delay any shipment keep dispatching orders on time in case of fbm. Amazon will observe and will disburse your payment/funds after the 14 days. It’s for a shorter period of time and will get back to normal disbursement on every 13th day after the review period is over.

But i’m doing FBA. So why Amazon is saying this?

Maybe your sales have gone up recently. This exposes Amazon to a bigger risk if many customers ask for refunds.

Or it could be for any reason. They can do this and there’s nothing you can do about it.
