Can a person make 2 Amazon accounts on his name?

Like 1 in UK on LTD and other in USA on LLC. Business Address for both will be different but residential address and personal ID will same.

The business owner already has an USA account on his name and was using UK accounts on his brother’s ID but due to some taxation issues his brother has asked him to trasnfer the account.

Will there be any risk of getting linked? Both accounts have different Wholesale products.

It is possible, ideally by getting Amazon’s blessing first but I suspect there could be complications transferring his brothers account to him, depending on what links Amazon finds, especially if the 2 brothers finances get linked, eg cards, bank accounts etc.

There is usually a reason people use other people’s accounts, they tend to be because they are trying to bend rules, especially taxation. This has a habit of coming back to bite in the future.

You will eventually get linked for accessing both accounts if there is no proper isolation process on the seller accounts.

We had a client who has two llcs same owner information different address of course. Both was linked and we had to unlink them by creating legal separation for both business entities for the reinstatement process.

If your intentions is to sell in uk and the brother doesn’t want to sell anymore due to taxes. Close the seller account.

From there the main owner needs to apply for UK using the same business information he applied in from the same seller account to access that region.

Make sure that the brother close the account first. Make sure the main owner doesn’t access the same computer, absolutely NO VPNs due to other users using the same shared IP.

If you need help happy to get on a call and give you a game plan.

Yup, can do if they are for separate legal entities, like one in the UK under an LTD and another in the USA under an LLC. However, since both accounts will have the same residential address and personal ID, there is a risk that Amazon might link them. Ensure that all information provided is accurate and transparent.

You can open a case and ask them. I know some sellers who did it and received positive answers. Usually if the legal entities are different and they sell different brands, it shouldn’t be a problem.

The USA and UK are different marketplaces, so having one account in the UK and one in the USA is totally fine. There’s nothing to worry about. I have one in the UK and one in the USA, and they are both linked.
