where can I find the file attached to the buyer’s message?
I can see the message, but not the attachment.

You need to go into Seller Central messages and you will see it there. When Amazon copy you with the message you sent the customer, they do not include the attachment.

If a buyer has sent you a message with an attachment on Amazon, you can find it by going to the Buyer-Seller Messaging section in Seller Central. Open the specific message thread, and if there’s an attachment, there should be a clickable link or download icon near the bottom of the message or right under the message text. If you don’t see any attachment, it might be due to a delay in Amazon processing it, or the file type may not have passed Amazon’s content filters. Try checking the message again after a short while, and also use the desktop version of Seller Central, as attachments sometimes don’t appear properly on the mobile app. If it still doesn’t show, ask the buyer to resend the file in a supported format like PDF or JPEG.
It seems that the buyer doesn’t know how to do it. Is it allowed for them to send me the file to a personal email?
Who cares? Amazon will never know, just send it.
But if your original post was regarding a message that a buyer received from you, the attached file should have been attached to the email message.
