Buybox lost after price increase

Hello,

I am having issues launching a couple of new private label items.

Once the stock arrived at amazon I listed them for a very low price to try and get some initial sales, I gradually increased the price but now when i try and increase the price to what i want to sell at I loose the buy box. I have waited a week now and still not got the buy box. Therefore I can’t do sponsored products…

Has this happened to anyone before and if so how did you solve it? or how long did it take to get the buy box back?

I would suggest you to increase price by cents. Try with 10 cents increment every other day. And, don’t lose money by decrease your price to your profit point in future.

I had the exact same issue

I sold it cheap earlier on to get sales and reviews

Then later increases and lost buy box

I noticed was if I put it back to same price then I regain the buy box, then let few sales happen and gradually increase £0.50 every 2-3 days

It should do the trick

Steep increases of price often mean that you will never get the BuyBox on a listing again.

As others mentioned, you should only increase it by small amounts and over a longer period of time.
