Buy box / featured offer issue

Hey, I was wandering if anyone could chime in here. Yesterday all offers for all our products said no to featured offer available all at the same time. Meaning our offer is not shown to customers.

All our products are brand registered account health is in good standing. All offers are fba and there have been no prices changes in years. Selling on amz for over 6 years. Checked various things but nothing seems out the ordinary.

So far I’ve Email seller support and was worthless. Now have contacted md which stated they’re looking into it.

Any one have a clue what’s going on ?

Yes I saw this. Seems weird like some kind of glitch that might be happening. We only sell in the uk tho

This seems really strange. The other seller is doing dropshipping and the products are not their.

But as there are others experiencing the same issue, this is comforting and assuring that it’s just Amazon testing something.

Were your offers actually hidden on the listings when setting a shipping address / location to the buyer’s country or was it just a widget stat?

Because the widgets can be faulty.

Yes very strange wish they didn’t test things with me lol.

But to answer your question the product page would show say “ no featured offers available” and then underneath say 1 option available from £15.95

If the buy clicks that then they see the prime offer

That’s really upsetting. Have you tried having someone else check your listings from a different computer / device / browser?

Yes, Amazon must be testing something.

Yes I’ve checked with multiple people on phone tablet windows. It’s all shows the same unfortunately. I think the eligibility has turned from a yes to a no on an account level.

They must be testing something. Maybe turning the Buy Box on and off as a penalty for something.

Yeah you could be potentially right. Only thing I’m not sure about is what I’ve done wrong. Everything is in good standing not had any warning etc for anything really. Let’s hope it sorts its self out

Quick update.

It did come back on its own in the middle of the night. I did have a look around and it does seem like other people were experiencing it. Over the weekend there were a couple more post about the buybox disappearing.

Amazon is always tampering with the things. I bet they will soon do something about the Buy Box eligibility such as announce there are now targets that have to be met, like return rate.
