Just wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.
We’re a U.S.-registered C corp, doing mainly wholesale. We’ve been selling on Amazon for over a year, no policy violations, all clean. All our products are sourced from authorized U.S. distributors, and we have full invoices and shipping records for everything.
Yesterday, we got hit with an email from Amazon saying our business is “located outside of [Amazon.com)” — which makes no sense — and they’ve now removed or blocked most of our branded listings. We can’t list almost any branded product at this point.
We’ve always followed the rules, even bought the required liability insurance Amazon asks for. This came out of nowhere and pretty much shut down our listings overnight.

If you have invoice related product and Authorization, so you can talk to the seller support. They reinstate your listing.
Is it all listings? Is the director of LLC based in US as well?
I received the same email and couldn’t get it fixed.
Yes, this type of restriction has recently impacted a number of U.S.-based sellers and is likely related to Amazon’s tightening enforcement around “brand distribution restrictions” and “geographic sourcing risk.” Even if you’re a fully U.S.-registered C corp and sourcing domestically, Amazon’s automated systems sometimes misclassify sellers due to mismatched information in their backend (like IP addresses, shipping origin anomalies, or business verification metadata). To address this, open a case under “Listing Issues → Product Listings Blocked or Removed” and explicitly state that you’re a U.S.-based C corp operating solely within the U.S., with all goods purchased from authorized U.S. distributors. Attach your business license, proof of U.S. address, EIN letter, distributor invoices, and insurance certificate. Also request escalation to the “Policy Team” or “Seller Identity Review” group. Simultaneously, submit appeals through the “Listing Limitations” page for affected ASINs. Be persistent, as it sometimes takes multiple rounds to trigger manual review and correction.
