Authenticity deactivation without invoices

Hello,

A friend of mine recently had their account suspended due to issues related to product inauthenticity. They operate a print-on-demand (POD) business, so they don’t have traditional invoices, only receipts.

Do you think it’s possible for their account to be reinstated despite not having invoices?

Also, are there any steps or documentation they could provide to help resolve the inauthenticity claim and improve the chances of restoring the account?

Invoice receipt is just an auxiliary thing. You need the authorization of this brand to let you sell it before you can restore your account.

Even in cases like this, it’s definitely possible to restore the account, but it will require a well-structured appeal. Amazon is strict about product authenticity, and they need clear documentation to verify that the products are legitimate.

For Print on Demand businesses, the challenge is often proving authenticity without traditional invoices. If your friend only has receipts, it’s important to show that the receipts come from legitimate suppliers and that the POD service is authorized to print and ship the products. In some cases, a letter from the POD provider confirming that they are the source and manufacturer of the products can be useful. Additionally, showing communication with the POD provider, proof of orders, or any contract agreements can strengthen the case.

In the appeal, your friend should be transparent, explain the business model, and detail how the products are made and fulfilled, along with all supporting documentation. If Amazon sees that the business is operating within their guidelines and taking responsibility for the issue, they are more likely to reinstate the account.
