What’s it like compared to Amazon?
Apparently, their return system makes it even easier for buyers to get a refund without returning the goods. But you can test the market, it’s on my list soon as well.
I can’t even create an account on Walmart, they are worst.
Yes, some UK-based sellers do sell on Walmart USA, but it’s quite different from Amazon in terms of setup, traffic, and operations. Walmart has stricter approval requirements and usually wants to see a history of strong performance, so getting approved can take time. Unlike Amazon, Walmart doesn’t offer fulfillment outside of the U.S., so you’ll need a U.S.-based 3PL or warehouse to handle storage and shipping unless you’re using WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services), which also requires sending inventory to the U.S. Sellers say the traffic is lower than Amazon, but competition is also lighter, and margins can be better if you’re in the right niche. The platform is growing, but it’s not as polished or automation-friendly as Amazon, so expect more manual work and a slower ramp-up. If you’re already doing well on Amazon.com and have a fulfillment setup in the U.S., it can be a worthwhile second channel.
Yes, Walmart is increasing in popularity.
Very difficult to register an account. But might be worth a try.
Gotta be worth a go.
