Anyone having issues: Claim £400/500€ in promotional clicks to launch sponsored ads for Prime Day

I received an email from amazon with the promotion
Claim £400/500€ in promotional clicks to launch sponsored ads for Prime Day

For Amazon sellers that launch their first Amazon advertising campaign (Sponsored Products or Sponsored Brands) with a setting no end date through their seller account from 21 September 2020 at 0:00:00 UTC until 14 October 2020 at 23:59:59 UTC, Amazon 1 will automatically apply promotional clicks of £400/500€2 to that advertiser’s account within two weeks of the launch date of their first campaign. Any unused promotional clicks will expire after 90 days from the date that the promotional clicks are applied. Advertisers will be charged for any clicks received before the promotional clicks are applied.

I launched two campaigns within these terms and have not received my credit. I have contacted customer support but they haven’t even replied.

The terms state any money spent before the credit is applied is not included, also amazon can with draw this offer at anytime.

I hope it’s not the case of getting people to spend money on ads and then withdraw the offer once they have spent their cash

It’s unfortunate that you haven’t received the promotional credit for your campaigns despite launching them within the specified terms. Here are steps you can consider taking to address this issue:

  1. Check Eligibility: Ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the terms. This includes being individually invited by Amazon to participate, maintaining a good-standing advertising account, and providing a valid payment method.
  2. Review Launch Dates: Double-check the launch dates of your campaigns to make sure they fall within the specified promotional period.
  3. Contact Amazon Support: Since you’ve already contacted customer support and haven’t received a response, consider reaching out to Amazon Advertising Support directly. They specialize in advertising-related issues and might be able to provide more targeted assistance.
  4. Document Evidence: Gather evidence of your campaign launches within the specified period, such as screenshots or campaign details. This documentation could be useful if you need to escalate the issue further.
  5. Escalate the Issue: If your initial communication doesn’t yield results, consider escalating the issue by requesting that your case be escalated to a higher level of support or management.
  6. Follow Up: If you haven’t received a response from customer support, continue to follow up with them regularly. Be persistent in seeking a resolution.
  7. Review Communication Channels: Ensure you’re reaching out through the appropriate communication channels. If you initially contacted customer support via email, consider trying other methods like chat or phone support.
  8. Social Media Channels: Sometimes, reaching out to Amazon through social media channels can expedite the resolution process.
  9. Seller Performance Team: If the issue persists and negatively impacts your account health or performance, consider contacting Amazon’s Seller Performance team for assistance.
  10. Patience and Persistence: While it’s frustrating, resolving issues with promotions and credits can sometimes take time. Stay patient and continue to advocate for a resolution.
  11. Consider Future Actions: Given the uncertainty, you might want to hold off on additional advertising spend until this issue is resolved. This can help prevent further expenditure without receiving the expected credit.

Remember that Amazon’s systems can sometimes encounter glitches or delays, and not all issues are intentionally overlooked. By continuing to communicate with Amazon support, providing evidence of your campaign launches, and escalating the issue when necessary, you improve the chances of receiving the promotional credit you’re entitled to.
