I was just in the phone with Amazon for two hours for them to basically tell me that this “happens” and I have to resend all of my tax information. I’m NOT happy.
Sorry to hear about the 1099 issue. It can sometimes happen, but make sure your tax info is up to date in your account. If still no luck, try reaching out to Amazon support again or submit a ticket for clarity.
Everything is correct but I did resubmit yesterday. They said it could take 10-15 business days to see it update. Hoping it’s not an issue then. I’ve had NOTHING but problems with FBA.
If you haven’t received your 1099-K, this issue is due to verification errors or missing tax details.
Amazon typically sends these forms by January 31st, but if they’ve asked you to resend your tax information, it likely means there’s an issue with your TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) or business details.
To resolve this, check your Tax Document Library in Seller Central, update your tax info under Settings > Account Info > Tax Information, and consider opening a case in Seller Support instead of calling.
If your form isn’t available yet, resubmitting your information as soon as possible may help avoid further delays.
I did resubmit. It was already up to date and verified so I don’t know what the issue is.
That sounds frustrating! Since you’ve already resubmitted, it should update within the timeframe they mentioned. If it doesn’t, keep following up with support. Hopefully, this resolves smoothly for you!
Amazon should have sent out 1099s by now. If they’re asking you to resend tax info, it’s best to follow up in writing to have a record. I know someone who can help with tax-related issues if you need assistance. Let me know, and I’ll connect you.
