Any tips as to why this may be happening?

I just started my store about 1.5 months ago. I got a campaign going and have been letting it run. Slowly, sales are growing (8-10 / day), which is great. Suddenly, sales have drastically decreased. 2 on the 24th, 5 on the 25th, 1 today.

I’m using the same campaign (increased budget from $30 to $40 per day), I search keywords on Amazon, and my item is the top product. I haven’t touched any settings, but suddenly, sales slowed down drastically.

You must add few more campaigns on different match types.

Also optimize your existing campaign and bids.

Better approach is to ads 3-4 campaigns with $10-$20 budget instead of just running 1 with all of your PPC budget.
