Any thoughts or tips?

Hey everyone,

I am very new here. I just opened a new Amazon business account, within a couple of days I was accepted with my LLC. I started coordinating on Alibaba with sellers on the product production and third party testing but without a few days I got an email from Amazon saying that my account has been permanently closed and any subsequent accounts will be also closed due to a violation of their terms of service when I literally didn’t do anything since it was opened and approved a few days ago. This will be a US based operation.

What can I do to resolve this misunderstanding?

On an unrelated note- is it mandatory to third party test for collagen and supplements on Amazon FBA?

How do I do it through Amazon account? I still don’t have the product, just a large sample for testing.

I also have a Eurofin account outside of Amazon before I opened Amazon and I don’t know if I should do it without Amazon account or outside?

The purpose of the testing is to make sure the product is safe to use so customers are happy with the quality product. It’s a bit costly but I’m gonna try that.

This type of “permanently closed” email right after approval is usually not about listings. It’s often an identity or linked-account flag. Common triggers are shared IP/device, VPN or remote desktop, reused phone number or card, address mismatches, or someone with past suspensions accessing the account. Don’t open a new account, because that can make it worse. Log in and check Performance Notifications and Account Health for the exact reason. File one clear appeal that explains the root cause and what you changed. Attach clean documents that match your LLC and account details, like formation docs, EIN letter if you have it, bank statement/letter, proof of address, and your ID. Keep the tone factual and calm.

For collagen and supplements, assume higher scrutiny. Amazon may request compliance documents at any time. Third-party testing is not “done through Amazon.” You order testing with a lab and keep the reports ready. A finished-product COA is a must in practice, not just raw material specs. It’s best to test actual production goods with a real lot/batch number, not only an early sample. Eurofins can work if the lab and method are appropriate for what Amazon asks for. If you already have a Eurofins account, you can run the testing outside Amazon. Then upload documents only if Amazon requests them in Seller Central. Also be strict with claims and labeling, and avoid any disease claims. If you can, use a GMP-compliant manufacturer and get compliance guidance early.
