I have a laser jet printer I’d like to use for now for fnsku and shipping labels. Looking it up adhesive shipping label paper that works for my printer is the challenging part so I was wondering if any of you use a laser jet printer and what worked for you? Just incase it matters I have a canon color image class LBP622Cdw.
You can use standard letter-sized adhesive label sheets compatible with laser printers for your FNSKU and shipping labels. Look for labels that mention compatibility with laser printers on the product description or packaging. These should work well with your Canon Color ImageClass LBP622Cdw laser jet printer.
I totally get the struggle of finding the right adhesive shipping label paper for your laser jet printer. While I don’t personally use a Canon Color imageCLASS LBP622Cdw, I’ve heard that many people have had success with Avery shipping labels for laser printers. You can check out their website or search for compatible labels specifically designed for laser printers.
Search for “laser printer compatible shipping label paper” or “laser printer shipping label sheets” online or check with office supply stores for options that are compatible with your printer model. Reading product reviews and checking with the printer manufacturer’s recommendations can also be helpful in finding the right label paper for your needs
They provide different functions. We still need the HP LaserJet for printing documents and/or purchase orders for example. We also do some mailings, so need the Avery 5160 labels.
The Dymo was an upgrade for handling FBA related printing; FNSKU “stickers” and shipping labels. It also prints everything we send to it; packing slips, theater and baseball tickets, etc.
Starting out, you’d probably be better off with the HP LaserJet P1102w. This business generates a lot of paper work, You’ll want to print all that stuff, so you’ll be ready to prepare your income tax, and print the invoices Amazon will ask you for at some point in your career.
I agree with @FunkyMonkey. It all depends on your workload. If you are a small seller with occasional orders, one printer will be enough. However, when processing hundreds of orders, it will be reasonable to invest in a separate printer specifically for FBA barcodes and box labels to save money and time.
