In the Amazon revenue calculator you should enter the item price as it appears on the Amazon listing, which means the price including VAT if you are selling in a VAT-inclusive marketplace like the UK or EU. Amazon’s fee calculation is always based on the gross selling price charged to the customer, not the net price before VAT.
If you are VAT registered, Sellerboard shows profit excluding VAT for internal accounting, but Amazon’s calculator won’t deduct VAT automatically, you’ll need to manually factor VAT back out of your net proceeds when working out true profitability.
If you’re VAT-registered, then just like on Sellerboard you should enter the price before VAT in the Amazon Revenue Calculator, because the FBA calculator already works on the net selling price.
VAT is shown separately when Amazon collects and remits it.
Are you currently operating under the UK VAT system or the EU VAT system?
