Amazon late paying since move to EU payments?

Hi

Has anyone else noticed that Amazon are getting 1-2 days late in paying now?

Disbursements made on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday always used to be in our account Wednesday, then it moved to Thursday and today they are not there and likely to be Tomorrow now.

I read on Monday that some sellers are now receiving their funds next day ie disburse on Saturday and it was in their account Monday.

Contacted Amazon and they are not interested and just state their standard replies that it can take up to 5 days.

Surely if they are doing this to everyone then thats a lot of money they are holding on to.

I understand that delays in receiving disbursements from Amazon can be frustrating. While I don’t have access to real-time data or information on specific payment processing times, I can provide some general insights.

Payment processing times can vary depending on several factors, including weekends, holidays, bank processing times, and any potential internal processes at Amazon. It’s not uncommon for disbursements to experience occasional delays, but consistent and significant delays may be worth investigating further.

If you believe there is a recurring issue with delayed disbursements and you have already contacted Amazon for clarification without receiving a satisfactory response, you may want to consider the following steps:

  1. Review your disbursement settings: Double-check that your disbursement settings are properly configured in your Amazon Seller Central account. Ensure that the correct bank account information is provided and that there are no issues or restrictions related to your account.
  2. Check with your bank: Contact your bank to inquire about any potential delays or issues on their end that could be affecting the processing of your disbursements. It’s possible that there could be delays within the banking system that are beyond Amazon’s control.
  3. Seek clarification from Amazon: Continue to reach out to Amazon Seller Support to express your concerns and request clarification on the reasons for the delays. Be persistent and provide any relevant details or evidence that may support your case.
  4. Seek advice from other sellers: Connect with other Amazon sellers, either through online forums, communities, or social media groups, to see if they are experiencing similar delays. This can help you gather more information and determine if there is a widespread issue or if it’s specific to your account.
  5. Consider professional assistance: If the issue persists and you feel that your concerns are not being addressed adequately, you may want to consult with a professional, such as an accountant or legal advisor familiar with Amazon seller issues, to explore your options and seek further guidance.
