I haven’t and don’t plan to because Ireland has the same issues as any other EU country (GPSR, VAT, etc),
GPSR is quite easy, VAT is being collected by Amazon.
I wanted to know what the sales are like and if they are comparable to the UK.
You will face following scenario:
Brexit adds customs and VAT rules. Irish buyers want fast, cheap delivery. Less competition but extra costs.
Yes, many UK sellers list in Ireland through Amazon’s European Fulfilment Network (EFN) or Pan-EU.
Ireland uses Amazon UK’s marketplace, so listings, reviews, and FBA inventory can be shared - no separate account needed.
Main changes sellers notice are:
Lower order volume than UK, but steady growth.
Higher shipping costs if not using EFN/FBA.
VAT rules still follow UK settings, but you must watch thresholds for Irish VAT registration.
Are you planning to sell FBA or FBM there?
Hello,Ireland offers a wealthy market with strong e-commerce growth and high online spending.I found a service provider who can handle VAT registration and filing for two years for free. If you need, you can contact them at this email address: [email protected]
