Amazon Holding My Inventory for 30+ Days

I’ve had 2 SKUs stuck in reserved status for over a month, worth £2,500+. Amazon keeps saying “we’re checking your inventory,” but nothing is happening.

They asked for invoices 25 days ago, which I submitted right away yet they’re still reviewing and haven’t closed the case. No updates, no resolution.

It’s seriously affecting my entire business, and I’m running out of patience. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

How did you handle it?

When this happened to me, Amazon took nearly 1 month for my inventory to go live.

Amazon marking inventory as “reserved” for prolonged periods due to ongoing investigations or compliance reviews, often without timely updates.

Since you’ve already submitted invoices and it’s been nearly a month, escalate the matter by replying to the case with a formal complaint citing the financial harm caused and request immediate action or escalation to the Captive Team.

Also, open a new case under “FBA Inventory > Investigate missing or damaged inventory > Reserved inventory” and mention the original case number to pressure movement. If there’s still no resolution, file a complaint through the Seller Performance escalation route or send a formal letter to Amazon’s legal address demanding release or reimbursement under their FBA policies.

They are checking for what?

Their answer: - “Our internal team is currently investigating this matter. We’ll reach out to you with updates or if additional information is needed. Thank you for your patience while we review your case.”

The same answer from last 15 days whenever I asked for update.

Often this comes after authenticity complaints. They will hold your inventory aside as reserved and investigate.

You only need to wait. Maybe they will release the inventory next week. Try getting them in a call to see what is happening, but otherwise it is a waiting game.
