Amazon have blocked me and I don't know why!

I have created an Amazon seller account, all got approved etc and I added a listing. It got stuck in a loop of asking for the barcode number which I kept on clicking I was exempt for this, which again, was approved each time and I couldn’t make sense of it. I googled it and it said to wait for 48 hours after the account approval. So I waited then logged in, this time it came up with a message that said I had been bloked from my account for unusual activity!! I have no idea what it is talking about. All the advice things I read say to speak to the help but I can’t get to that area in my account s I can’t log in. I have spoken with the side that supports buyers but they are unable to help. Apparantly the seller side of things have no phone number I can call and everyone I speak to says they can’t help. This was 10 days ago, I have tried everything and don’t know what to do…I still can’t get in, when I try to log in it still shows the same error message.

It is a christmas based product I really want to get live so time is ticking and it is so frustrating, can anyone help at all?

welcome to the forum, thank you for joining! I am sorry to hear that your Seller Account access has been blocked.

Was this your first selling account? Unlike other platforms, Amazon is very suspicious of everything happening on their platform and uses automated algorithms to scan for and detect irregular behavior.

Normally, genuine new sellers take some time to explore the platform and start slowly.

If you opened your account and immediately aggressively sought to create listings in a manner that is unusual, this would have raised concerns.

What kind of product were you attempting to list that they did not require barcodes?

All products require barcodes and as far as I know, the only exemptions are available to sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, listing under their own brand.

Thank you for the reply. This was the first seller account I have had where I have actively created a listing. I watched a few of the videos and read a few of the how to things and then put the listing together. I have a reasonable amount of online experience with things so I didn’t need to spend days and days reading up on things. I have a product that is time sensitive (Christmas) so wanted to get it selling asap.

It doeasn’t have a bacode as it is a set of 24 items I have picked and put together to create an advent filler set, so it’s not something that exists as a resold item as such so it doesn’t have a barcode.

The system kept telling me my item was approved to be barcode exempt then would ask me to put something in again. Now I can’t log in at all or contact anyone from Amazon, can anyone help in anyway?

Could you provide any more information about the product?

Amazon no longer allows sellers to create bundles consisting out of different brands which are no authorized by the manufacturer.
