Amazon currency conversion when ordering as a buyer

Morning, guys. If I’m ordering from outside the UK, for example, Amazon Italy, I get the option for currency conversion. They charge a small fee to convert euros to GBP.

Am I alright sticking to euros, or is it worth paying the conversion fee?

Cheers!

The golden rule, whether on internet or in person, is to always pay in the local currency.

I would just pay with Wise, and that’s it. This is what I do.

Which account within Wise do you use? £, $, or Euro, for Euro purchases?

I don’t think it makes any difference. You either convert your GBP into Euro and pay with Euro, or just pay with your card and let the automatic conversion happen.

Can I pay with Wise on Amazon, if I’m doing retail arbitrage?

Yes, you can and you will get cashback too.
