Amazon asking for citizen ID

I have UK Ltd and recently registered VAT. When adding the VAT ID Amazon asking for Citizen Id but I am not a UK citizen.

Could anyone tell me what will be the solution?

It is not asking for a UK Citizen ID (it doesn’t exist anyway). In the UK, it would be your UTR (Unique Tax Reference)

If you have one from your country, send that one. It may be called something different. If you don’t have one, you should, otherwise, how are you paying your taxes.

  1. Provide Alternative Documentation: If Amazon still requires additional identification, offer alternative documentation that proves your identity and association with the UK Limited company. This could include company registration documents, VAT registration certificate, proof of address, or other official documents that validate your status as a company owner or representative.

Isn’t that for National insurance number?

Shall I add only VAT ID and leave this Citizen ID block?

Try it and see what happens.

They are asking for your own (home) country’s TAX ID which you use. It doesn’t need to be UK tax number.

You need to get Amazon to clarify exactly what you need. Don’t just TRY the numbers you have, it could cause immense problems.
