Amazon asking approval for the brand which i was selling from last three years

Hello ,

Amazon is asking for the brand approval which i was selling for last three years , but now they want me to get the approval again.

When i upload the invoices along with letter of authorization of my supplier they reject within 5 sec. We have the incventory of that brand for $150k, its a nightmare for us , right now.

can anyone help me or guide me about this ?

I’ve never had to request brand approval so can’t be sure but first of all, check Amazon help:

Brand name approval requirements and issue resolution

This is a link to the UK site but if you search for “Brand name approval requirements and issue resolution” in your marketplace, you should get something.

If still nothing, Seller Support as a last resort.

It’s unfortunately becoming more common for Amazon to re-trigger brand approval requests even for long-time sellers due to tightening compliance checks, changes in brand policies, or algorithmic flags. If your invoices and letter of authorization (LOA) are being rejected instantly, it likely means they don’t meet Amazon’s strict documentation requirements—typically this includes invoices dated within the last 180 days, clear supplier contact details (name, phone, address, website), matching sold quantities, and an LOA that’s brand-specific, signed on company letterhead, and authorizing your account (name and merchant ID) to sell on Amazon. You should contact your supplier to ensure the LOA is updated and detailed exactly to Amazon’s expectations. If you’re working with a distributor, confirm whether the brand recognizes them as authorized. You can also consider hiring an experienced Amazon ungating or reinstatement service with proven results in your brand/category. Finally, try opening a case under “Product Listing Issue → Selling application rejected” and escalate with documentation screenshots if instant rejections persist—it sometimes triggers manual review.

Unfortunately, this happened to me and others as well. Amazon is now hard gating most popular brands, as they want to make their listings exclusive to the manufacturers.

All you can do is remove the inventory if they aren’t approving you. This should be done on time, as otherwise you are risking that they will dispose of the inventory.

You can still sell the inventory on eBay.
