Can I also work with amazon.com?
Yes, you can work with both, but Amazon’s affiliate program is country-specific, so being approved for amazon.de does not automatically allow you to earn commissions on amazon.com.
You’ll need to apply separately to the Amazon Associates program for the US, set up a separate tracking ID, and comply with US requirements like submitting the correct tax form. Your amazon.de affiliate links will only earn commissions on the German store, and traffic sent to amazon.com won’t convert unless you have a US Associates account.
Many European affiliates run multiple country programs at the same time and either manually choose which links to use or rely on geo-redirect tools to send users to the correct marketplace so commissions aren’t lost.
