Gurus on YouTube always talk about working 15 hours a day. What I don’t understand is, what exactly are they working on?
If they have the right systems in place, they should be managing the business rather than working inside it. As they always say, “Don’t work in your business, work on your business.” They also say you shouldn’t exchange your time for money but instead use your money to make more money.
Are they constantly starting new businesses or having endless meetings?
Many of them are likely spending that time scaling their businesses, exploring new ventures, creating content, networking, and strategizing for growth. While systems and automation are crucial for efficiency, building and expanding a business still requires hands-on effort, especially in areas like product development, marketing, and partnerships. That said, the goal should be to focus on high-impact tasks and leverage systems to avoid being consumed by day-to-day operations, aligning with the “work on your business, not in it” philosophy.
