I have one ASIN in the US where all the orders for the last three weeks are pending.
Other ASINs are selling fine. This listing and stock all show as available
Seller support just doesn’t get it and just keeps going on about payment verification, but we are talking over 100 orders for one ASIN only!
Any ideas?
When you see one ASIN with orders stuck in pending for weeks while everything else is fine, it’s almost always an ASIN-level issue rather than payments, and Seller Support often misses that. Common causes are the ASIN being quietly flagged for compliance or safety review, a suppressed hazmat or dangerous goods reclassification, a catalog or variation attribute mismatch that triggers manual review, or the item being part of a category or policy check where Amazon holds orders until cleared.
It can also happen if the ASIN was recently edited in a way that changed a core attribute, or if there’s a backend brand or IP verification running that doesn’t surface as a visible violation.
The best move is to open a case specifically asking Seller Support to check the ASIN for compliance, hazmat, catalog integrity, or policy holds, and request escalation to the internal team handling order holds for that ASIN, rather than letting them default to payment explanations.
