Ad costs

I havent used sponsored ads in a few years so just wanting to check; my 3 day campaign so far says:

‘Spend £42.93… Sales £340.83. ACOS 12.60% ROAS:7.94’.

Just want to check (bit paranoid!) that my spend (to date) is definitely that amount, and not any more (eg to be revealed by amazon later at end of campaign as some yet-to-be-calculated fees on top or something!)

Also do these figures seem alright, campaign wise? Looks good to my eyes but just checking.

Hello @joelmb,

you are correct, your spend of £42.93 is accurate as reported by Amazon, and it won’t suddenly increase with hidden fees after the campaign ends. The spend includes all costs related to the ads you’ve run so far, such as click costs. However, it’s important to keep an eye on the campaign as it progresses, as spend can increase if you get more clicks.

Also, regarding the performance of your campaign:

ACOS of 12.60% is a good number, especially if your profit margins are healthy. It means you’re spending 12.60% of your sales revenue on ads, which is generally considered efficient.
ROAS of 7.94 is excellent, indicating you’re generating £7.94 in sales for every £1 spent on ads.

These metrics suggest your campaign is performing well. If your profit margins are comfortably above the ACOS, it’s a successful campaign.
