Acceptable debit cards?

So much conflicting info on whether bank issued debit cards are acceptable? Insight would be greatful.

We don’t have any credit cards. Never did.

If you want to have acceptable debit cards, pick a major bank. We use CapitalOne. They instruct us to use the card as a MasterCard. Works like a “charm.”

Any debit card as long as its not prepaid will work
