A-Z claim opened while refund was being processed

I sold an item on amazon fufilled by me. The customer wanted to return it and sent it back as they did not want it. I refunded within 24 hours. However, between that time of it arriving and refunded they opened up an A to Z claim. This is now affected my ODR. How do I get this removed - as I did refund within 24 hours (actually way less than 24 hours)

I am assuming you refunded prior to it arriving back, don’t do stuff like that unless you want trouble.

Both online marketplaces are loaded with shake down artists and activist buyers that will retaliate if they did not get it for free. Looks like you have an activist buyer, they revenged on you since they did not get it for free. NOTHING YOU CAN DO, sorry.

In the future NEVER go out of your way for any buyer on both market places. Follow marketplace guidelines exactly as they presented them to you.

Activist buyers know exactly how the system works and how to amp up the hurt on you as a seller.

Unfortunately, having impatient demanding buyers open A-Z claims because they are unwilling to wait for the refund to get processed is a common issue.

Because of this, whenever I issue a refund, I firstly process the refund and once this is completed, I message the buyer to confirm.

If you message the buyer and then refund, it will very likely they will open an A-Z claim, because they won’t see the refund on their end - especially if the buyer is very unpleasant, demanding and aggressive.
