I’ve been running into some confusion with international shipping, especially when it comes to customs codes and how platforms calculate duties.
For example, I recently simulated a shipment for a product valued at $99 USD, and the system estimated $48 USD in duties, which seems way too high. I suspect multiple tariffs are being stacked incorrectly.
For those of you who ship regularly to the U.S., how do you handle:
HS code selection?
Avoiding inflated duty rates?
Customs declarations that actually match CBP logic?
Any tips or examples would be super helpful.
