Few questions as a newbie
I have a product collection I want to sell in a proven market.
Products will be all in-house designs either created by my company and made in my studio or designed and made my company by a factory…so therefore I am a ‘private label’ seller right?
Do I have to trademark? If I choose not to trademark can I sell on Amazon

Even though at least a Trademark application would be required. you might be interested in the Amazon Brand Registry

Yes, it will be called your private label. trademark registry so that no one can hijack your listing in the future.
Trademark Registry is very important so you can Register Brand on Amazon only after trademark registration.
Then Amazon provides you with many features and also Increase your Brand awareness
