Announcement reposted from Amazon United States:
We’ve updated the Send to Amazon workflow with two new features to help you manage shipments more efficiently.
You can now see if your shipments qualify for Amazon-optimized splits as you create them for both domestic and international shipments.
The workflow displays requirements for the following:
- Individual units
- Case packs
- Pallet templates
You’ll also now see the total estimated cost on Step 2: Confirm Shipping of the Send to Amazon workflow. This includes the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inbound placement service fee and estimated shipping costs based on Partner Carrier Program (PCP) or SEND rates. These estimates are for comparison only and you won’t be charged if you don’t use PCP.
The workflow automatically compares and pre-selects the option estimated to be the most cost-effective between small parcel delivery and less-than-truckload shipping for domestic shipments. Non-PCP carrier rates may vary from the reference PCP rates shown.
For more information and requirements for Amazon-optimized shipment splits, go to 2025 FBA inbound placement service fee.
